“Wears” the Miscommunication…
As you begin to take notice of the colors you choose, your body shape, your lines, scale, & proportions... You might also find yourself aware of WHY you decide to put on the things you do.
The clothes we wear are -literally- the closest thing to our skin. We physically carry these things throughout our days. They can be seen as vulnerable or even as a shield to the outer world. Whether we realize it or not EVERYTHING we put on says something. It makes a statement. A great question to ask yourself is...
“What are you wanting to communicate?”
With clothing, we can speak to our playful and approachable side or to our authoritative and commanding side or somewhere in between. Oftentimes, when we feel “stuck” with our wardrobe it’s because there’s a miscommunication between what we’re trying say and what we are actually “saying” (wearing).
A Color Analysis or a Style Workshop can help you translate what you’re wanting to communicate into physical form. One question I love getting to ask (because it’s so unique to each and every person) is:
“What are 3 things you want to be perceived as?” I’d love to hear from YOU! What are those 3 words you want to communicate through the things you wear? Do share!
